Tipa Tipo’s unique style of tropical yacht rock en español blossoms with "Cintas," their first full-length album. Cintas, which means “tapes” in Spanish, ties together soft rock, disco, and Peruvian cumbia to create a new hybrid pop that merges soundscapes from North and South America. The band writes about their merging of sonic worlds: “The fusion we are creating in "Cintas" is our musical equivalent of Spanglish." Cintas follows in the wake of the band's debut EP "El Chari" (2021) and sophomore EP "2 Al Azar" (2022).
